Abstract:

Current tools for computer architecture design lack standard support
for multi- and many-core development. We propose using circuit models
to describe the multiple processor architecture to motivate a circuit
based design approach applied to a computer architecture problem.
A test chip with DVFS capable processors is used to explore our ideas
through software implementation.
